The School Timetable

At Leytonstone School we operate a fortnightly timetable cycle with the two weeks labelled Week A and Week B.

The rotation of the two-week cycle is paused during school closures to ensure an even distribution of lessons throughout the academic year.

The Staggered School Day

Our pupil population is separated into two tiers for Year 7/10/11 and Year 8/9. Both tiers operate on a 6 period day (50min single lesson, 100min double lesson), with alternating break and lunch times.
